Migrate to Sei Wallet
Compass and Leap both shut down on May 28, 2026. If your SEI lives in either, you need to move it into Sei Wallet before then. This guide is the central path — pick the wallet you're coming from below. Migration takes about 15 minutes and your SEI never leaves the chain.

Keplr is not sunsetting. If Sei is your primary chain, run both wallets with the same seed phrase.

Sei is transitioning to EVM-only through 2026 (SIP-3, completion target mid-2026). Associate your sei1 with your 0x address.

The high-level path
- Export your seed phrase from your current wallet (12 or 24 words). Write it on paper. Never screenshot, never paste, never email.
- Install Sei Wallet from /download. Verify the signed binary — see security for hash verification.
- Import the seed phrase into Sei Wallet. Choose Import existing wallet → Use seed phrase. Set a new local password (this is not the seed phrase).
- Verify your balance and stake. Sei Wallet shows your address, available SEI, delegations, and any pending unbonds. Cross-check against the old wallet's display.
